PROJECT: IDENTITY
CLIENT: DEBI HOLLAND GARDENING

Debi Holland is a gardener & horticulturalist based in North Somerset.

OBJECTIVE

To create a new identity for the gardening business, using simple typography and an illustrative approach. Debi wanted the design to feel tasteful and elegant, whilst portraying her plant knowledge and botanical experience.

The identity will be used first on business cards and social media, rolling out to a website and possibly other marketing materials in the future.

Business Card

Business Card

The illustration brings together a selection of the client's most loved plants and flowers, in a contemporary, yet slightly retro style. The colour and style was developed to appeal to potential clients, ranging from garden designers to individuals who require help with maintaining their gardens, and also to be something that would sit well within horticultural circles such as RHS Chelsea & Highgrove.

The illustration was created oversize for flexibility of use. A close up version of it has been used on the business cards, and there is potential for using alternative crops on other marketing materials or individual elements as required.

CLIENT PERSPECTIVE

”As my gardening business has grown, I felt it important that my commercial identity reflect the service I offer. I pride myself on being knowledgeable about plants and combine this with a personal and flexible approach, tailored for individual client needs.

Carys has managed to capture my enthusiasm for horticulture and incorporate a selection of my favourite flowers in a professional, yet very personal work of art. It is a true representation of my love of plants!

Working with Carys is an incredibly enjoyable experience. She is efficient, flexible and fun! She wholeheartedly embraced the brief and took it forward to another level. I am absolutely thrilled with the end result. I would highly recommend her.“
