Drop of Rain - Book Cover

PROJECT: A DROP OF RAIN
CLIENT: CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS / ROOM 9 DESIGN

OBJECTIVE

To illustrate a non fiction book for children, showing the journey made by a raindrop after it lands on a remote mountain top.  The illustrations were to have a clean vector style, and depict a changing landscape loosely based on the area around the Indus River, with plenty of wildlife along the way!

Pictured below are some spreads from the book, click on the image to enlarge...

I created illustrations to accompany the story, written by Tanya Landman. Commissioned by Cambridge University Press, the overall design and layout of the book was done by Room 9 Design
