PROJECT: ARTCRANK
TITLE: AS THE CROW RIDES

ARTCRANK stage live events featuring bicycle-inspired, hand-printed poster artworks, created by local artists. Mainly in the US, but also some shows in the UK - this piece was for the first ever Bristol show.

OBJECTIVE

To design a 'bike-related' poster image for ARTCRANK Bristol 2014. 

Pictured above is what I came up with. Based on the idea that going by bike is often the quickest, most direct route between A and B, evolved to incorporate a fictitious cycling stuntman and his death-defying circus act, blazing a trail along a high-wire towards a distant B. His gaze is set on flaming glory!

The image was created as a 2 colour screenprint, on GFSmith Colorplan 'Natural', 270gsm, hand-printed by White Duck. Remaining prints are now available in my PRINT SHOP
