New Brand?
Important Information You Should Include in a Design Brief

Brand Design Questions

This is an update on a previous post which outlined some questions to answer before briefing a new logo design.

Revised, improved, and building on my experience of working on new brand designs for a range of clients, I have now updated these questions to include some additional crucial information, and turned it into a PDF document, ready to fill in. DOWNLOAD HERE

For any designer, it is important to have a brief and to understand any specific requirements relating to your brand project. From the basics of what the new brand is for, to how it should be perceived and what the potential life is likely to be... these are just some of the things it’s useful for a designer to know before quoting on your project, let alone starting the creative process.

I have created this document as a way of improving my process in dealing with new clients and new brand projects. It’s a great way of making sure I have a clear idea of what’s needed, in order to put together an informed quote, but also so that I have all the relevant information in one file that’s easy to refer back to.

Please feel free to download the PDF - The questions are all relevant to your new brand whether it’s for a business, product, service or any other kind of offering. Your answers can form the basis of a design brief, and ensure that you’ve considered the main points relating to your brand - all things a designer will likely ask you!

Good luck!
