Project

WWT – Wetlands Wildlife Illustrations

Client

WWT (Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust)

Vision

A world where healthy wetland nature thrives and enriches lives

WWT are the wetland restoration charity, here in the UK.

They’re dedicated to finding ways to unlock the power of wetlands – to help nature burst back to life.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with WWT on a number of projects, to help bring their social media posts and online content to life through clear, simplified illustrations with a hand-crafted and friendly feel. The illustrations so far have tended to feature individual wetlands species.

Colours and fonts from the WWT palette are used to ensure the illustrations tie in with the WWT brand.

Social Media

These illustrated guides highlight wetlands-related things you can do or look out for. They were featured on WWT’s social media feeds – Instagram, X and LinkedIn

Waterlands

A series of idents for WATERLANDS, a podcast from WWT all about the wonderful, sometimes surprising and often underappreciated watery places around us, and how they can help us with some of the biggest issues facing life on this planet. See more about this here

Carys turned a campaign idea into a bold, bright illustration which received thousands of shares on social media. She did a fantastic job with the brief, and her distinctive style has clearly resonated with our online followers.
